3. Swelling in the joints
The swelling in the joints will make it hard to push against your toes or your fingers. This makes it difficult to perform simple activities such as picking up items off the floor. Also, you may find it hard to perform simple movements such as picking up things from shelves or books. It is easy to understand why a person would lose some range of motion in their fingers. However, it is impossible to do simple exercises that involve using the fingers without suffering some degree of discomfort.
